give a point or so for signing online petitions through non-profit organizations. give more points for sending personal letters, as opposed to the simple generic kind commonly used as template, on issues relating to the charity of choice.
give points for raising awareness in various ways that prove to get the attention of other online viewers and surfers.

Why not add a section where people could donate 1c to $10 day/week/month/year to there favorite cause,as well as keep a log of the total amount donated on the side bar that would be cool and maybe make this viewable to the public. You could also have a member of the day section on the bottom of the sidebar so that member would come up on everybody computer all around the world that would be cool to.

Like others, I'd like to see more charities/causes that we can choose from but I'd like to take it a step further. I don't know how the partners selection is done but I would like the public to have their say. A list of charities should be provided so people can vote on their favourites. That way Better The World can see which charities/causes they should partner up with/add.

If a list of charities/causes is too board, then I suggest a simple voting forum like the 'New Ideas' page where instead of submitting new ideas, we submit and vote on new charities/causes that Better The World should add.

It would be nice if the sidebar could be on either the left or right side of the browser. (done through preferences of course) It would be nice if it could be set so that when I click on 'profile,' or something in the side bar, that I can set it to either open a new window, or open in a new tab, or just open in the tab I'm at the moment.

It would be interesting to have trend data available in the sidebar, for instance how your cause is growing in membership, or charts depicting how your current goal has been approaching its final value, or charts depicting your point accumulation by day/week/month. It seems to me that might be a good way to make use of the rest of this sidebar which is otherwise wasted.

There is a major humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli assault. This group will be nothing political and no bias should be present, but there should be a cause to aid the citizens of Gaza since much of the strip has been destroyed, unemployment is nearly 40%, there is a lack of education for children, zero to no medical or international aid, as well as a food crisis.
